"It handles the basic stuff easily..."
It handles the basic stuff easily, so that’s nice. The menus, though, are still kind of a guessing game sometimes, which is always fun when you’re just trying to do something simple. I’m getting used to it, but it definitely took a little patience
"Unity has been a solid time-saver for me..."
Unity has been a solid time-saver for me overall. Most of the workflow feels smooth, though I do occasionally find myself slowing down a bit when digging through the menus. It’s nothing major, just something I notice from time to time.

"My first impression with Unity’s graphics tools..."
My first impression with Unity’s graphics tools was good. Even on smaller 3D projects, the lighting, shaders, and post-processing made things look way more polished than I expected once I started tweaking the settings.
That said, it can be confusing sometimes because certain options feel tucked away, and things seem to move around between versions. I do end up searching online more than I’d like, but the final results are usually worth it. I’d still give it 4 stars.

"Updates keep making me cautious"
I’ve had old projects break after updates one too many times, so now I’m guarded about upgrading anything right away. It’s frustrating because I want to stay current, but I also don’t want to risk spending hours fixing stuff that was working fine before

"I used to feel confident about them..."
I used to feel confident about them, but some of their recent decisions have made me question that. It just seems obvious that when a company makes choices that affect customers, they need to think through how it looks and how people will react. Right now, their reputation feels a lot less solid to me

"I’m happy with the updates so far"
So far, the updates have been working smoothly for me. It’s nice not having to worry much, and overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how reliable they’ve been

"The pricing has become so frustrating"
I still think Unity is a solid engine, and I’ve used it for smaller projects, but the pricing and licensing situation has gotten really stressful. It feels like every time I want to start something, I have to pause and double-check what I’m even allowed to do. The plans aren’t exactly cheap either, which just adds to the frustration. It’s disappointing because the engine itself is good, but all the confusion makes it harder to feel confident sticking with it long term

"Way fewer bugs than I thought"
I’ve been using Unity for a bit now, i expected way more issues than I’ve actually run into. I mean, considering the stuff I’ve been doing with it, bugs don’t really pop up that often for me. When they do, they’re usually not a huge deal, either there’s some workaround or it gets fixed fast. So yeah, overall I’ve been happy with it

"I use Unity for small 3D projects..."
I use Unity for small 3D projects and it does the job well most of the time. The editor is easy to figure out and play mode starts fast when the project is still small.
Once scenes get bigger though things can get annoying. Compile times drag on random freezes happen and the editor uses way more RAM than I expect on my PC.
So yeah I would not say it is bad but I would not call it amazing either. It is still useful and I keep using it but I really wish it felt smoother and more stable without needing so much tweaking.

"Unity’s collab tools didn’t live up to the promises"
I tried using Unity’s collaboration tools with my small team because it sounded like it was supposed to make working together easy. Instead, it turned into a bunch of sync problems, confusing setup steps, and changes not showing up when they should. It felt like we were promised a smooth workflow, but ended up wasting time troubleshooting instead of actually building anything. Frustrating coming from such a big platform.

"Editor finally isn’t crashing much for me"
The Unity editor have been way more stable for me lately, even when I’m working with bigger scenes. I think I only had one crash the whole week, which is a nice change.

"Useful once you get the hang of it"
The tools are actually useful, but it did take me a bit to get comfortable with everything. It’s not even about the features being bad or anything, the learning curve just feels a little rough at first. Once you spend some time with it, though, it starts to make a lot more sense

"I’ve been using Unity mostly to work on..."
I’ve been using Unity mostly to work on C# scripting, it’s been a smooth experience. At first, I ran into a few errors that made me stop and wonder what I’d messed up, but the documentation usually helped me figure things out. I also really like being able to test stuff quickly in play mode, since it makes debugging feel a lot less frustrating. There’s definitely a bit of a learning curve, but after spending some time with it, scripting in Unity started to feel much easier.

"I tried getting help on Android..."
I tried getting help on Android, and honestly??? It just feels like nobody’s really supporting it anymore... There wasn’t any real help, no clear answers, nothing useful at all!! Frustrating.

"Helpful Unity docs, but I sometimes felt on my own"
I’ve found the Unity docs really useful while learning. Most of the pages explain things in a way that actually makes sense, and the code examples have saved me more than a few times when I was stuck. That said, there were moments where I still had to dig around a lot, and it kind of felt like I was being ignored or left to figure it out myself when something wasn’t clearly covered. Overall though, the documentation is clear and has saved me a ton of time.

"I’m not trying to be overly picky..."
I’m not trying to be overly picky, but this is missing too many basic features that I’d expect to be there already. It still feels kind of unfinished to me.
"Better community help than I expected"
I’ve been using Unity for a while now, and I didn’t really expect the commUnity to be one of the biggest reasons I stuck with it. When I run into something confusing, there’s a good chance someone has already asked the same question on the forums, Reddit, or Discord, and that usually saves me a ton of time.
It’s not perfect though. Some answers are old, and I’ve definitely gone down a few rabbit holes before realizing the info doesn’t apply anymore. Still, compared to what I expected, people are generally helpful and patient, even with basic questions. I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

"Helpful tutorials, but I still felt bounced around"
Unity does have a ton of tutorials, which was really helpful when I was first getting started. But some of them felt a bit outdated or would skip over little steps I actually needed, so I ended up jumping between the docs, YouTube, and forum posts a lot. It kind of felt like being passed around instead of getting one clear path. Still good for learning the basics, just not always as straightforward as I hoped.

"Licensing could be a bit clearer"
I’ve been using Unity and overall I think it’s a solid tool, but the licensing info can be a little hard to make sense of. Sometimes it feels like the important details are tucked away or not explained as clearly as they could be...

"Just not worth the subscription anymore"
The subscription just doesn’t feel worth it anymore. It’s gotten way, way too expensive for what you get.
